For our patients, root canals can be scary. That’s understandable – root canals are a major procedure that saves badly damaged teeth. At DentaCare, we take extreme care to remove all fear from your root canal procedure.
What types of patients are best suited for a root canal procedure? In most cases, they meet one or more of the following symptoms:
- Decay deep in a tooth
- Several procedures on the same tooth in the past
- Cracked tooth
- Chipped tooth
- Root fracture in a tooth
Nearly all candidates for our root canal procedure meet several of these conditions. DentaCare has staff and doctors on hand to discuss the root canal procedure in-depth with you. Together, we will determine if you are a good candidate for this procedure. If it is determined you need root canal surgery, we will help you create a timeline both for your schedule and for financing.
On the day of your procedure, please show up at least 15 minutes prior to procedure to fill out any necessary forms and avoid being late. Using a meticulous process, we effectively remove all affected tissue from your root canal. Fillings are inserted to replace the dead tissue from the root canal. That filling is covered by a permanent crown. After a few days, your mouth will feel better than it’s felt in years.
DentaCare is open until 8 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on Saturdays. Click here to schedule your next cleaning appointment.
